In 2005, iRobot Scooba was introduced and still is the world’s first and only floor-washing robot available for home use. It uses a four-stage cleaning system to prepare, wash, scrub and squaeege your sealed hardwood, tile, linoleum and marble floors.

Conventional mopping just pushes dirty water around but Scooba uses only clean water to wash the floor while the collected dirty water is stored separately.
